Greetings from Michigan! My name is Marie McKenzie. I hope you enjoy your visit to my little corner of the web, I have been sewing for over 40 years, it all started dressing my dolls & my sister's as well, then I graduated into making clothes and I dressed all of the children in our family, we lived on a farm and had every animal there was, we were chasing cows or pigs through acres of land daily as my father was a "Gentleman" farmer and had no idea how fences were supposed to be! We had 20 acres of land and we grew everything we could, my worst memory was when my Dad had us kids plant 10 acres of corn by "hand"!! I know my Brother's and Sister's can all remember it as well, and it was a real learning experience! I grew up and left that area in Michigan but didn't move too far, I have 4 grown children and one totally awesome grandson who is the "apple" of Gramma's eye and has been with me a good part of his young life, he loves to watch me sew and always wants to help, I give him scraps and he will play for hours working on things he says he is going to sell on "Ebay"!! He sure is starting early for that career! I want to be sure and Thank all of my friends and customers for their patience and love & support during the last year while I was ill, your prayers and notes of encouragement have meant the world to me!
